I just watched the movie Syriana. Had everything to do with the oil tycoons wheeling and dealing, back stabbing, esbianage, murders, coups of family & fortunes in the middle east. Was not the most exciting movie, but gives a behind the scences viewpoint of why we are here now.

Well, because of "N Korea" and their missle tests, oil prices are going way up. At least thats "their" excuse. Confused

Boy, they'll jump on ANY excuse to gouge us, won't they? I guess they could say all the rain we're getting is making it more expensive to pump!

One word! greed!

Prices here have been over $3.00 per gallon all summer, and today they hit $3.19! Five straight years of record profits by the oil companies, and looks like another "record" profit this year. But I guess with an oil man as president, Cheney aka "Haliburton Richard" as VP, and all that oil money that put them in office, what can we expect!
