Early on in the investigation into the Duke Lacrosse rape allegations, the second dancer told the police that the accusers story was a "crock".

What was this prosecutor thinking? This case should not even go to trial and they should also stop smearing these guys. They dont appear to me to be angels but I dont believe they raped this girl.

The Duke LaCrosse Team rape charges in some ways remind me of the media circus after Andrew Luster (an American citizen) was convicted of raping three women, received 86 counts (on three alleged victims), and was sentenced to 124 years in prison. Most illegal aliens who commit worse rapes (not that Luster is guilty) received much less severe sentences and also commit worse rapes by way of gang raping, raping minors, and physically assaulting their victims in addition to the actual rape.

By the way, Andrew Luster's name is forever linked with Dog Chapman of the TV show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" because Dog and crew took it upon themselves to go to Mexico and apprehend Luster. Even today and three years later, Dog and family are still lying about some facts about Luster and their apprehension of him. Their lies to the media and anyone who will listen defame and further prohibit an appeal for Luster for many of us who hope his case is tried again. Many believe him innocent (the "victims" had loopholes and some commited perjury). Even if guilty in some ways, Luster received extreme punishment for his alleged crimes that did not include any physical assaults, gang rapes, rapes of minors, etc.

Luster never physically assaulted his victims. His case was tried and trashed in the media ad naseum. Despite what Dog Chapman and others might say, there was never any ghb (date rape drugs) or a rape kit found in the hotel room he was staying in Mexico when Dog kidnapped him. Nor did police find any in his California home after the first witness "victim" came forward. More here......

I believe the Duke LaCrosse case has some similarities because of the wide spread media coverage and they (Duke students and Luster) were American citizens. Most illegal alien rapes and gang rapes are mostly ignored by the main stream media.

Why are American citizens being severely prosecuted even when some might be innocent, yet illegal alien rapists and gang rapists are mostly ignored by the MSM?"
