Milwaukee- A prominent member of Milwaukee's Latino Community is now facing deportation to Mexico. Mireya Lopez's family owns Cielito Lindo, a popular south side restaurant. Last week Lopez was arrested as she was filing for residency for coming into this country illegaly when she was a teenager. Lopez says her father brought her to the United States when she was 15 and an American couple raised her as their daughter but were never able to adopt her. Lopez was released and is waiting for an immigration hearing in her case. The mother of three says she's sorry if she broke any laws and that she will respect the judges decision.

 At 15 years old, she KNEW she was breaking the law. She needs to be deported like anyone else that is here illegally. |
