WASHINGTON - Numerous federal and local law enforcement agencies have bypassed subpoenas and warrants designed to protect civil liberties and gathered Americans' personal telephone records from private-sector data brokers.

Im starting to wonder wether the U.S. Constitution means anything to our Government and our law enforcement officials. It does not apear that it does.

This is one of the scariest things that has happened with this administration. And, I honestly don't think people either realize the seriousness of it or even understand that it's being done.

To quote Bush "The constitution is just a g-- da-- piece of paper"

I don't agree and wish we could get back to our constitutional form of government. I certainly don't like Bush's designs on our nation. I am very uncomfortable with his attempts to join us with Mexico and Canada. I can see how Mexico would benefit hugely...but we would be the loser in that deal all the way around.

And, I really BELIEVE that Bush thinks that about the Constitution. I don't think it was just a slip of the tongue. Based on a LOT of his actions, he shows a complete disregard for the Constitution.

First it's monitoring our phone calls. Now it's monitoring our bank records.
What will they think of next? It's almost too scary to think about. Maybe they will feel sorry for me and send ME a handout when they see MY bank records!!!!!!

Bush and his globalist cohorts think nothing of the constitution. they are planning on disbanding the united states and replacing it with the North american union - where all of us can be worker serfs and slaves together- what is happening now is worse then 1984 .

That's exactly what they want. We HAVE to have a complete change in 2008 before we go down the tube.

I hope we can have change before 2008...so much damage has been done in such a short time.

They're so arrogant they're doing this stuff right in our faces.

Wouldn't THAT be a miracle! I'm not making any suggestions but, if the Maniac and Cheniac would CHOOSE to step down, it wouldn't make me sad or anything like that!!!

The police state expands.

THAT is a DISGRACE. What is this world coming to? Are they going to control what every person who has ever had a bad experience with our government says to ANYONE? What do they have to hide? That is what worries me about everything that this administration does. Every time you turn around, they are covering up SOMETHING. It is just SCARY.
