Ron Paul has been accused of being a liberal in some forums I have been on because many liberals are endorsing his candidacy. Well I would say it is mostly for his "bring the boys home" position on the war if anything. Other than that I'm not seeing the liberal agenda that these Liberals would be signing up for. The common theme I find in all Ron Paul supporters is the fact they want to reinstate the Constitution as our rule of law for the Federal Government. Power taken away from the feds and given back to the states. More freedom and less government intrusion. More privacy. Open markets and real free trade, not this managed garbage that is sending all our jobs over seas.

Those are American values, not liberal or Conservative values. His voting message matches his principles, which is more than you can say for most if not all the rest.

http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/

He would not have the NAIS that is about to destroy most of the small family farms across this nation. He would not allow federal funding for stem cell research. He would pull us out of the U.N. . He opposes forced mental health screening of all of our children in Public schools. He thinks parents should be in control of their childs education, not the federal government. He is for property rights. Dr.Paul does not want taxpayer money going to non-citizens. He would also end the unconstitutional subsidizing of the Communist goverment of China

His conservative positions are myriad. He is the most conservative candidate in the race today, hands down.

The Republican party for the most part, is not conservative party anyway. Their record over the past six years will show you that. They are more concerned with being a big tent socialist party like the Democrats. All they are is a lesser version.

If you want to talk about who has a chance to win or not, lets talk about what happens if the Republicans nominate a Pro-War candidate for 2008. they will get there clock cleaned.

If you nominate Rudy, even if he wins, which I don't believe he will, we lose because he's a Liberal. Mitts a flip flopper. McCains nuts.

The only guy that I will give you who has a chance is Thompson, but his Pro-war, stay the course stance will sink him in the general election.

Paul unites Conservatives, moderates and yes even some liberals under his message of Freedom and individual liberty. Small government, less taxes, less spending. He would eliminate the IRS as well as the welfare state. He would do his level best to get this country off the path to bankruptcy that it is on now.

We would not need to borrow three billion dollars every day from Communist China just to fund this war, because Paul would bring the boys home.

Keep in mind when I say he would do these things, obviously I mean he would do whats with in his power as the President to do and he would persuade the congress to take care of its side. But at the very least we would have a man in office who would be thinking in that direction.

He sounds like a good candidate, I can tell you believe in him, which means alot today to actually have someone really believe in a candidate. I have to read more about him. When I saw him on the debate, and he said we caused 911, what do you think of that? I understand they dont get enough time to really go into details, I have to tell you, thats the only thing that stopped me from looking more closely at him, yes I know it's a very complicated issue, but I do feel Muslium extremest want us killed if we will not convert. I really do believe that, no matter what I still think it is truly a battle cry "Death to America"so that statment kind of through me alittle, but I will check him out some more. I like Tom Tancredo, I hope both of them start getting the recogintion they deserve.

Ron Paul voted to go after Osama in Afganistan and is angry that the President forgot about Osama so soon. He was opposed to going into Iraq from the outset because there was no Al quedia connection. He predicted pretty much what has happened over there due to our invasion.

There are lots of videos on YouTube dedicated to Ron Paul. He is not a one issue candidate. He has lots of depth unlike most of the other Republican candidates.

Despite Rudy's spin, Ron Paul did not say we invited the attacks of 9/11. He said our foreign policy was a contibuting factor in their motivation for the attacks. Michael Scheuer, the former head of the CIA's Bin Laden unit came out at a press conference after the debate and completely validated everything Ron Paul said. This man has devoted years to tracking and studing Bin Laden. here is the video clip

Here is a recent interview on Fox News

He was on Tucker Carlsons show a few times.

Here is a good interview by a by a New Hampshire public radio

He really is the only candidate that wants to govern by the Constitution.

You also can see what his positions were going back ten years at his house website here is an index of his articles http://www.house.gov/paul/legis_tst.htm

His positions have not changed because the Constitution hasn't changed.

As his message of freedom and individual liberty spreads so does his popularity. By the time the primaries are here he may have a legitimate shot at the nomination.

For our countries sake I hope he gets it.
