| My great uncle had copd and he hadn't smoked heavily ever...and hadn't smoked a cigarette in over 20 years when he was diagnosed. Go figure. |

| Genes? Really? I've often wondered how come the Indians smoked to the extent that they did ...plus living in smoky environments in those tipis or hogans or wikiups and didn't get lung disease? Have you ever considered that? |

Oh, well don't forget--the powers that be would say that it was a different KIND of smoke. It would only be the TOBACCO smoke that killed them!!!

| The US Cavalry setting fire to their tipis made lots of smoke. Killed a lot faster than tobacco smoke, I understand. |
