Some people at other sites are complaining that Lou is "dropping" anything that has to do with illegal immigration, and prioritizing the Israel/Lebanon/Hezbollha crises.
Well, I think people that feel that way are wrong. They even are encouraging people to email Lou Dobbs to give them at least 5 minutes time for illegal immigration.
I am really glad that Lou is so concerned about the problems in the Middle-East because it shows the world that there are many other important issues that need to be dealt with that have just as much importance.
I am sure that if Lou had something that couldnt wait, he would inform us immediately.
LOU DOBBS IS OUR HERO! |

I would like to see the illegal issue remain at the top of priorities. maybe having a show on it 2 or 3 times a week. But, to insist that is all he reports on is rediculas.
Yesterday was very frustrating to hunt for new illegal articles to post. The news is dominated with the Israili war. If this goes any farther, I have a feeling it will continue to dominate the news. Everyone is on pins and needles right now saying this will turn into WWIII. More so because they realize our military is stretched beyond capacity. If Syria and or Iran jump in we are in huge, huge trouble. |

I can bet that Lou is keeping an eye out on what's happening with the illegal immigration issue. I watched today and he showed a couple short segments on it. There was another march in Chicago today, the pro-illegals demandaing that deportation be stopped . Also, there was a short segment about Rep. Taylor(NC) wanting the immigration laws enforced. The war in the Middle East concerns me alot, it's Bible prophecies being fullfilled(in my opinion) but illegal immigration is a big concern, also. I'm glad to see Lou is dedicating a little time to the issue again. |

Lou is too dedicated to the illegal immigration issue, to let it ever become "back seat" news. Just last night he had a segment on the protests. And I think that he will continue to report any news that has any impact on the subject of illegal immigration. Thats just MHO. |

After the third day I became concerned that all that was on any newscast was about the Israeli conflict. I am a suspicious ol' lady and I think they're pulling something while all eyes are thousands of miles away.
I, personally, am not interested in knowing about every rocket landed by either side. Israel has taken on Lebanon ---actually the government within a government in Lebanon---and I think that has to be a good thing. There are too many countries who want to fight a war hiding behind someone else's identity...as Iran with hezbollah and hamas and the insurgency in Iraq. Someone other than the US had to make a move. Israel had taken more than eniough from the Palestinians and the terrorists in the ME. I'm glad she has said "NO MORE'. I hope she can make it stick. I believe that God Himself will help her make it stick.
I just hope that the liberals here in America will not be able to cause the US to abandon Israel in her time of need. I mean, where else would we get such accurate intelligence? AND they furnish our ammunition to fight this war on terror. We are so incompetent and depleted these days we cannot even manufacture our own weaponry and ammunition.
Anyway...I wish SOME eyes would remain on the problems here within the US to a much greater degree. But...this war is tailor made news..and they'll ride it and ride it and ride it. As for me...I've started turning the news off.
I am completely annoyed that so very little news was aired concerning the shootout two weeks ago across our southern border. More than 300 rounds fired at our law enforcement. Bush and his cabinet want to totally ignore the fact that Mexico is at war with us..we're not fighting back...but to my mind, it's WAR..and it's HERE.

This may also have to do with the "break" he took. It is his job to report on other issues. So I don't expect him to be able to keep illegal invasion on every day of the week. Even if he wanted to he has to answer to his bosses. I would bet there is great pressure atm for him to be spending so much time on Isrial. He is far to passionate on this subject, to just drop the issue for no reason. For all we know his doctor told him he was going to have a heart attack if he kept it up. Who knows.
Bet your bottom dollar they will take advantage of this Israil situation to pull some more back room deals off. |

His doctor probably did advise him to back off alittle bit. Sometimes he is so outraged at the Bush administration, his whole entire head turns a bright red. I love watching his show because he is really passionate about the illegal immigration issue. I wish there were more people in the media as dedicated as Lou. |

| I agree with your original statement, Butterbean. Lou Dobbs has been our CHAMPION for YEARS but, when there is other news of real importance, he can't just sit back and blather about one topic. It is his job to report the NEWS---ALL of it. There are so many more problems facing our country right now that it would be irresponsible to be a "one issue" reporter. We need to cut Lou some slack and be grateful for all he has done for our cause. Believe me, Lou will NEVER let illegal immigration fall by the wayside. He just HAS to do his job. And, WE need to realize that we can't be so narrow-minded as to think that solving illegal immigration will solve ALL of the problems facing our country right now. |
