I cant locate an article about it but I saw Lou Dobbs last night and he had a segment on how the United Nations wants to tax Americans. He had two Senators on who was passing legislation to oppose that very thing. I think one of the Senators was Ben Nelson. The scarey part is that these two Senators thought that there would be support by some members for taxing Americans and giving the funds to the U.N. . Ridiculous.

The United States already funds 22% of the U.N. as it is. Apparently Koffi doesn't think thats enough.

I thinks its time that the U.S. defund that useless organization and give it the boot. I dont live any where near New York but I think that Americans should be staging protests to get that body of idiots out of our country.

I completely agree with you, Patriot. Americans already foot the bill too much of the time, anyways. Yes, the UN out of the US!

I think the UN is not only completely useless, it's dangerous.
Thank heaven our constitution does not allow for our being taxed by foreign entities...the UN is definitely foreign.

According to Nelson this is not a new idea...it's already been voted down twice previously. But only for THAT session. Dingbats.

Rep. Ron Paul of Texas wants to get the UN out of the US. I'm with him.

Well I had a feeling that one was coming. After all, kind hearted do gooder Americans always foot the bill for them and everyone else who puts their hand out! And we all know how greedy Koffi is. He was busted just a couple years ago in the oil for food program to Iraq which was a huge multi million dollar scam. The fact that he is still the UN leader after that and the many investigations into UN troops rapping young girls around the world, speaks volumes.

I would very much love to see the UN get the boot, but, Bush wants them for the back up army in furthering his globalization goals. Just in case us lowly Americans get to riled up about this garbage going down, his UN army will move in on us, with no loyalty or qualms to shooting us in the streets like dogs. So I very much doubt it will happen. As for the constitution protecting us? I wouldn't count on that, the way our politicians are ignoring it and destroying it daily.

I DO NOT believe we should even belong to the UN. Its corrupt, there is stealing going on at all levels, and the UN believes in treating us like human cattle. Evil or Very Mad
