NEW LONDON, Conn.
Jack Kemp will hit the campaign trail with a fellow former vice presidential candidate from another party: Sen. Joe Lieberman.
Lieberman said Tuesday that Kemp, a Republican former congressman and U.S. housing secretary, telephoned to offer support to his independent campaign, which the three-term senator began after losing the Democratic primary to Greenwich businessman Ned Lamont. No date for the visit has been set.
"We've worked together for years on some good projects that got done," Lieberman told reporters while campaigning in New London.
Kemp was former Sen. Bob Dole's running mate in 1996.

Republicans and Democrats. Two peas in the same pod. There really is no difference.

| Well, who would you take the chance on that would not sell out our borders and military to the UN? I'll take my chances with the GOP....we have Dewine here in Ohio against Sherrod Brown....Brown wants NO borders in the Americas at all. |

The problem with the GOP is their track record. How many "other" promises have they made in the past that once the elections were over they never followed through on?
Nope, they don't show me much at all. There are those on both sides that want the boarders protected, and no matter who they are they are they deserve our vote. One party is no better than the other, and when the elections are over we will see just how many "lies" have been told in order to get your vote!
Take care.

If supporting Republicans would secure our border they would already be secure. They have been in control of the Congress since '94 and have been in the white house for six years.
Republicans talk the talk but dont walk the walk.
At this point I will have to support the Republicans in my district because there is not a Constitution party candidate running. But I must say I am Toying with voting libertarian, Because there is one running.
Voting Democrat is never an option for me.
Both Republicans and Democrats have figured out that the bulk of America is sleeping. They do nothing most of the year and then at election time they agree to argue about abortion and gay rights to appeal to their base. Its all orchestrated. The pundits even tell you at the time that that is what they are doing and we still vote for them. Americans need to demand representation from there elected officials YEAR ROUND. Not just at election time. The only way to do that is to teach them a lesson and vote them out.
