From a recent press conference given by President Bush released Aug 21 2006
| Quote: | | But in the long-term, the only way to defeat this terrorist bunch is through the spread of liberty and freedom. |
| Quote: | The idea is to try to help change the Middle East.
|
| Quote: | | and I also talked the need to advance a freedom agenda. |
| Quote: | | The terrorists attacked us and killed 3,000 of our citizens before we started the freedom agenda in the Middle East. |
| Quote: |
Q What did Iraq have to do with that?
THE PRESIDENT: What did Iraq have to do with what?
Q The attack on the World Trade Center?
THE PRESIDENT: Nothing, except for it's part of -- and nobody has ever suggested in this administration that Saddam Hussein ordered the attack. Iraq was a -- the lesson of September the 11th is, take threats before they fully materialize, Ken.

So it appears that America is on a freedom agenda in the middle east. Which means that it wont stop at Iraq. Iran is most likely up next, then Syria. I guess we will have to invade all 22 Arab states and impose an American form of government on them as well.
I think the President forgot to ask the American people if we were willing to raise up our children so they could die for the freedom of Arab nations, who ultimately will elect some extremist muslim dictator to be their leader.
My mission in life is not to liberate muslim countries by military force. What they need is to be converted to Christianity. Thats the only true way to liberate people.
| Quote: | | And one way to defeat that -- defeat resentment is with hope. And the best way to do hope is through a form of government. |

So thats how you do hope. And I have been reading the Bible all these years. Silly me.

Yep, the good ol' freedom agenda.
Maybe he should set an example of the sacrifices families make during times of war, by sending his twins over to Iraq to participate in spreading democracy everywhere.
Remember, this is the same president who wanted us to trust a Saudi company with our ports. What a DUNCE! |

Yeah, freedom no matter how many people both Amercians and innocent civilans from the Middle East have to die, he wants "freedom"! Of course his "freedom" is freedom for big oil companies to go in and take control of all the oil in the Middle East. Must be Bush's secret "plan". Take away all their oil and they will be "free"!
I agree that if the neocons want war, then let their children lead the way. But as we all know those people never have to worry about their children going to war, nope, it's the middle class and the poor who get the visits telling them their child has died serving their country. The rich don't have to worry about that problem because their children can afford college, they have mom and dad to give them money whenever they need it, and they always find a job at "the family business" so they don't have to worry about making a living.
Nope it's the kids that can't find work, can't afford college, and can't make ends meet that end up in place like Iraq defeding a policy of "freedom" that benifits only the rich corporations! What about spreading some of that "freedom" in countries that have no "OIL"?
Take care.
