On Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at an immigration conference chaired by Senator Wayne Allard in Denver, Colorado, a high profile pro-illegal alien advocate looked up at me with seething anger in her swollen eyes, “You’re despicable!” She ripped the sign out of my hands, “STOP THE INVASION: DEPORT ILLEGAL ALIENS.”
She sobbed to the press about her illegal aliens being outlawed with Colorado’s new immigration laws, “This system is a tragedy, and people are suffering.”
What caused her outburst of yelling and violence? While she and others for “Immigrant Rights” presented a news conference to counter Senator Allard’s, I took a lesson out of her playbook from my experiences on the 21st Century Paul Revere Ride this past summer. While my group toured 48 states, busting our rear ends for 20,000 miles on motorcycles (my butt still aches), we always presented a permit to speak, but illegal alien advocates shouted us down from Los Angeles to Boston.
While this fine, upstanding woman with questionable allegiance to America, stood in front of five cameras talking a line of balderdash, I stepped in front of her stating, “In post 9/11, 21st century America, it is dangerous and irresponsible to allow millions of people into our country and we don’t know their identities. We don’t know their criminal backgrounds, their terrorist intent or the diseases they carry into our country. They’re overwhelming our schools, hospitals, prisons and language. Illegal aliens kill 25 Americans daily! We’re tired of being collateral damage in our own country. We’re sick of Americans like her advocating for anarchy against our laws.”
All cameras swung our way as my friend Stan and I destroyed her sweet, come- on-in, break-our-laws-with-impunity and take-over-our-country-speech, which disintegrated into shrieks of “You’re despicable!” First of all, she advocated against the Constitution. I stood for the rule of law in the U.S. Constitution. She advocated for another country’s people breaking illegally into our country. She called them “immigrants.” Let’s make this one point clear: we invite immigrants into our country to speak our language and learn our culture while they assimilate and become lawful Americans. Illegal aliens cannot be called immigrants.
Her vitriolic words caught me by surprise, “You’re despicable!”
I’m going to tell you what’s “despicable”. It’s despicable that Mexico, China, Cuba, Africa, India, Central and South America and other countries ship millions of their poorest, most illiterate, dispossessed citizens along with MS-13 gangs, drugs and diseases into our successful country.
It’s sickening to me, that, after building our country on the bedrock of hard work, a republican form of government and citizen dynamics for 230 years--other governments encourage their citizens to migrate into our country without invitation.
It’s despicable that Mexico’s failed governance, society and culture won’t fix its own society. It thrusts its most destitute citizens on us—bankrupting our system. It’s despicable they overrun our hospitals, schools, jobs and prisons with their worst citizens—at our expense!
I find it pathetic they come here for a better life when they’ve got six to eight kids back in Mexico where they can’t feed them. Has anyone asked them to practice birth control so they could feed two kids instead of eight?

Throwing in the Towel
by Doug Bower
Just when I am ready to give up, call it quits, throw in the towel with this op-ed writing business someone throws me a curveball and I am back at the plate again swinging that computer keyboard.
A friend, who lives in the thick of the "illegal alien" situation in Arizona, sent me a web site by this gomer named, are you ready for this, "Frosty Wooldridge".
I am not making this name up!
If you are not familiar with ole Frosty then go to a search engine and type in that name. Never will you spend a more entertaining time. One cannot deny the man is a prolific writer. Nor should anyone deny that what this man writes is nothing short of senseless dribble, nonsense, psychotic ramblings, and delusional disinformation.
Here are a few statements in his article, Mexicanization of America,[1] which he contends are true of every so-called "illegal alien" WITHOUT exception. Tell me what you think:
· They’ve run Americans out of countless cities and communities.
· They’ve trashed school systems and bankrupted 86 hospitals.
· They’ve thrown trash throughout the park systems.
· They defy laws by not carrying car insurance, driver’s licenses.
· Work off the books paying no taxes.
· Spread drugs.
· More terrifying are the thousands of cases of TB and hepatitis they spread into Los Angeles.
· Brutalize our schools with their language.
I really like that last highly intelligent and well-reasoned statement: "Brutalize our schools with their language". Who would have thought the Spanish language was so dangerous? What in God's name were my wife and I thinking in coming to Mexico and becoming fluent in Spanish?
I am wondering why Frosty, and everyone of his ilk, doesn't come right out and call Mexicans vermin? Isn't that what he is describing—the spreading of disease like plague-infected rats?
Let me suggest why he doesn't say what's really on his mind. Were he to come out with direct and honest rhetoric like, "I hate all people of different colored skin and let's kick the dirty vermin back across the border", there would be a backlash from the American people for such blatant and obvious bigotry.
Frosty, as well as the other anti-Mexican "disinformationists", well know that if they were to do so, this would not fly in the arena of public debate.
So, to what do they resort: DISINFORMATION.
This tactic is nothing new. It is what all souls resort to when they have few, if any, facts to support a dreadful position. Here's a good example:
When the State Department began issuing warnings of Americans being kidnapped at the Mexican border, Bill Conroy of Narco News looked into the matter. In my book, Mexican Living: Blogging it from a Third World Country, I record his investigation into this matter. The U.S. Embassy had NO kidnapping stats. Next, he filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the State Department, which revealed the same thing—Nothing!
There were no statistics of Americans being kidnapped at the Mexican-American border.
In a recent article by Tom DeWeese titled, The Real Disease is called Government; he makes the point that the CDC reports a disinformation statistic of obesity-related deaths being 365,000 per year when the truth turned out to be only 25,814.[2]
The State Department fabricated kidnapping statistics. The CDC fabricated obesity statistics. Then why is it not within the realm of possibility the Feds, the conservative press, the anti-Mexican hate groups, are fabricating the alleged 20,000,000 so-called "illegal aliens" that they report are swarming like vermin throughout America raping, robbing, pillaging, and plundering? (Oh my, I forgot, spreading disease too.)
The 20,000,000—where are they? Who are they? If there is such a firm and well-rounded figure, then why doesn't the FBI round them up and deport them? If they ALL, without exception, are raping, robbing, pillaging, and plundering, then who are all the victims? I want to see crime reports. If ALL 20 million are, without exception, raping, robbing, pillaging, and plundering, then there should be at least 20 million crime reports on file somewhere documenting this—shouldn't there?
My point: If you don't like someone of a different race, why not come out and say it. (Disgusting as that notion is, it is your right to do so—Free speech.) If you don't want them living in your country because they are different from you (still very disgusting), why not say so?
But don't resort to lies, exaggerations, falsehoods, and the dishonesty of disinformation in the attempt to manipulate public thinking.

Why on earth are you filling up space that is supposed to be used for comments? Use an url for reference and stop wasting readers time spent "dodging" over your articles, in order to reply or read other's comments.

The reason I posted the article is because I do not know much of Frosty Woolridge. I tried to find proof that what he said was true. I looked up "You are despicable, Frosty Woolridge, conference" to see if anyone else had witnessed what Mr. Woolridge described. According to his articles, "all cameras swung our way" which means there were witnesses to this scenario. I wanted to find out who else witnessed the incident and what actually happened. There are two sides to every story you know. I found no sides to this incident but Mr. Woolridge's. Which leads me to believe he exaggerated and made up the story. So, instead I came across this article, which sites why anyone would think Mr. Woolridge is despicable. It relates to your post very well. |
