Baldwin/Castle Ticket Sets Constitution Party Record in 27 States in ’08

The Constitution Party has run a presidential candidate in each of the last five presidential elections. In 2008, its presidential nominee, Chuck Baldwin, polled a higher percentage of the vote than any previous Constitution Party presidential candidate had ever polled in 27 states.

Those 27 states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

I was told last night we were on the ballot in 38 states in 2008. I don't know if access was retained in any or all except that the CP did keep it in Missouri.

I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

Permanent Access is what I am looking for. The states I posted they actually had the CP on as permanent. I know many states added Chuck and Darrell on in 2008 but I don't think they were permanent tho.

We need to catch up to and supercede the Libertarian and Green Parties.

I thought Mary Starrett, Jim Clymer, or Ray might have the latest. It is September 2009, I just want to put the word out about any progress we've made. If we look like we are having a good deal of progress then Americans will want to hop on the bandwagon. Frustration with the 2 Bilderberg Parties is at an all time high. The CP needs to capitalize on it.
Quote:Its going to be a tough fight because Obama is totally in favor of it and the news media will not allow opposing views. We're already two-thirds Socialist and NWO. Bush couldn't hold a candle to this Yahoo. I'm afraid that those of us who know what is going on are very much in the minority of the power structure. I'm sure its all going to come as a surprise to a lot of people but I fear the awakening may be too little and too late. You know, don't you, that ABC and NBC refuse to run PAID commercials that point out the problems of National Healthcare? Fox and CBS run them

Quote: I'm not impressed with either my congressman or my Senator. Vionivich is wishywashy on gun control and favors Hitlers National Health Servis. Space appears strong on guns but he favors the Gestopo on Health care. We need two entirely different people representing us. I've been in politics long enough to know that I am too old for state office. Bob Byrd, for example, is too old. He was a true american constitutional senator. He did very well until his mid eighties. Since then I've seen librals worm themselves in on him. He's considering things today that he would have been horrified at 10 years ago. Like I said he has gotten too old.

Quote:I am so totally discusted with the jackasses running things that I think we need a constitutionalist in office.

These are quotes from a loyal ex-Republican who has seen the light in another forum I visit.

Many Conservatives and Libertarians are fed up with the Republican Party and are ready to take the Constitution Party seriously now. I wish they were in 2007. Hell I wish I knew about the CP in 2004. With Obama's ratings going lower and lower day by day the CP will have a chance at Progressives and Progressive-Libertarians too.

Remember if we don't the Libertarians and the TEA-Party will.

The time is now more than ever. Cool
Quote:Well, last night, I made a decision. We are not required to register a party in Arkansas, thank goodness, so I am no longer a Republican. I cannot even believe that I'm even saying this, but it has to be said.

The Democratic Party left me in 1974. They ceased to be the party that I believed in.

The Republican Party left me in 2008. They ceased to be the party that I believed in.

I am Conservative. And the only Party that even remotely resembles the support of what America is supposed to be is the Independent American Party. It consists of both liberal, conservatives, and everyone in between who love America the way it is, and seek to keep it that way from those who are trying to eliminate everything we stand for today.

This party apparently consists of people who want America to remain the way our Founding Fathers wanted it to be.

It took me long enough. If you feel the way I do, this is the only alternative.

Independent American Party
National Platform
PREAMBLE

We affirm that the foundations of our country were spiritual: We testify that the Constitution for the United States of America was established as an inspired ensign and standard of liberty for all. It is the only constitution based foremost upon the rights and liberties of a free and independent people who are superior to government, having government as their servant rather than as their master. We revere the founding documents of America, honor the men who framed them, and ascribe all honor and glory to the God who inspired them. We claim, second to worshiping God, that our greatest responsibility as Americans is vigilance in protecting our God-given Constitution and rights, both for ourselves and our posterity.

We assert that we are in a Constitutional crisis. The major provisions of the Constitution are being compromised and our God-given rights are being intruded upon or eliminated at an alarming rate. Our educational, economic, social, and political institutions are becoming more perverted. The rights and nature of our national sovereignty, Judeo-Christian heritage, and traditional family, are under escalating attack. We solemnly declare that our Constitution, liberties, and national sovereignty currently hang by a thread. We assert that institutionalized corruption and the loss of our rights and liberties are unconstitutional, unacceptable and inexcusable.

We claim that our Constitutional Republic can still be fully restored by lawful means, but only to the extent that We The People stand united and vigilant, as never before, in the cause of freedom. "The people [not government]... are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty." – Thomas Jefferson

Purpose of the Independent American Party

1. To uphold and revere our Constitution in the tradition of our Founding Fathers as the only and supreme law of this land.
2. To restore our Constitutional Republic, restore Constitutional Law, and restore all rights, liberties, and properties rightfully belonging to the people and to the states.
3. To identify and reverse legislation, case law, regulations, and treaties, etc., that are unconstitutional or an offense to God and our Founding Fathers.
4. To permanently restore American sovereignty and independence from foreign entanglements, and mandates.
5. To return the control of government back to the people as intended.
6. To greatly minimize taxes, and to limit the size, power, and function of government to the intended constraints established within the original Constitution and Bill of Rights.
7. To advance the principles of freedom, patriotism, and traditional family values.
8. To preserve and honor our Judeo-Christian heritage, and the rights of all religions.
9. To identify and defeat all efforts to undermine and overthrow the Constitution.
10. To achieve at all levels in government, superior ethics, integrity and accountability.
11. To restore fair and responsible redress of grievances, as allowed in the Constitution.
12. To unite the independent votes, the silent majority, grassroots organizations, and other patriots and lovers of liberty under one umbrella, while keeping our separate identities, standing united as sovereign people.

I know. It took me long enough!

Got another one.

I posted the CP's in the same forum.

However the American Independent Party has ballot access in maybe 10 states.

It is people like these we are going to need to convince to come to the CP.

According to the September 1st print edition of Ballot Access News the CP has automatic ballot status for the 2010 elections in 16 states (CO, DE, FL, ID, MD, MI, MS, MO, MT, NV, NM, OR, SC, SD, UT and VT). There are unsettled court cases in two others (CA and OH) and ballot access petition drives ongoing in five more (AZ, HI, LA, MA and WY). In 8 states the petitioning period has not started yet. Here is a link to a post right after the election discussing this same topic.
http://www.believeinamerica.com/cp-retai...s-t-8.html

Apparently some things have changed since then. But with so many retaining ballot access it will let the National Party spend more money and time on a fewer number of states to help them get ballot qualified.

"Many Conservatives and Libertarians are fed up with the Republican Party and are ready to take the Constitution Party seriously now."

As we reach out to new members, let us not forget about conservative-leaning Democrats who aren't happy with their party either. Many of these folks don't actually like the Democrat party, but they vote that way because they don't like the GOP and see no other choices. Union members (not leadership) are a big part of this group.
