Constitution Party State Central Committee
Meeting in Illinois!


On Saturday, August 22, 2009, from 10am until 5pm, the Constitution Party of Illinois will be holding a State Central Committee Meeting. It will be held at the Lincoln Home Memorial Conference Center, which is located at 406 S. 8th Street in Springfield, Illinois.

While this meeting is open to the public, participation is only afforded to those who are members of the State Committee. (If you have questions as to who is qualified to participate, please contact chairman Randy Stufflebeam)

Ballot Access:

As you may or may not know, in order to get ballot access next year, we need 25,000 incontestable signatures, which means we need at least 35,000 to withstand the objection phase. The first day of authorized signature gathering is March 23, 2010. Then we have only 90 days in which to do it.

Candidates

We will be talking about who are the candidates we have so far and candidate recruitment.

State Convention

We need to begin planning the State Convention, which should be held prior to the signature gather to determine who will be on the petitions.

This will be a very important meeting! You won’t want to miss it, not only for the information that we will be dealing but for the opportunity to network with others of like mind. I will be working scheduling a guest speaker. So this won’t only be an important meeting, it should prove to be quite exciting as well.
