RE: Disaffilated states?
I've been in contact with several people from Montana that have expressed enthusiasm for working together and I hope they join this message board. As for NY, I've tried to contact them and will keep trying.

RE: Disaffilated states?
Montana had a state legislator elected during the last election. His name is Rick Jore. I would think they retained ballot access. They had Ron Paul on the ballot this past election. I don't know what the results were though.

RE: Disaffilated states?
I had this link sent to me:
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results...andidates/ It should have all the candidates listed. It shows Ron Paul's results. I have been in contact with Mr. Jore and he is one of the great Montana members that have expressed interest. My blog currently has an essay written by another CP member from Montana. They are passionate for the cause and I welcome them. It's kind of a mystery what is going on in the other states and I hope to find out what that is. We thought Alabama was unhappy, but after contacting them, their chairman replied that this was incorrect - they were just transitioning their party and were still getting things in order. So we'll have to dig a little to figure out what's what. So far, through emails I've been sending out, we've had enthusiastic and positive feedback from Alabama, Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Michigan, Massachusetts, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, and New Jersey. I've pointed them all to this forum and I pray they jump right in and we all work together to figure out how to dethrone the two-party system. Jason |

RE: Disaffilated states?
I'm the former State Contact for Alabama and current vice chair. We are currently working towards applying for full affiliation in December. There was a former Constitution Party Chapter here in Alabama that pulled out of the national Party in 07. This is a totally new group from the ground up that is only a few months old here and is not to be confused with the former Alabama affiliate.
The GOP just doesn't get it on why they are loosing the conservative base. Let's get ready to rumble and BBQ some packiederm in 2010! |

Many true conservatives don't know much about us yet. To accomplish that we must have a consistant message that will resonate with the masses of disenfranchised Conservatives no matter what race of current political affiliation. I preach that the farther we move away from the Constitution and Bill of Rights the worse things get and that we desperately need to get back to basics of the Constitution and our Founding Fathers intent. To do that we must first break the total control of our political process by the two party system and return this country to it's rightfull owners THE PEOPLE. We as a country must return to our Constitutional roots and restore the Republic or else cease to exsist as a Democratic Republic!! |

RE: Disaffilated states?
All:
Regardless of whether we win California in court or not we will still be active here in California. Although the returns have not yet been counted, and will take a few more days, California will produce several more thousand votes for Chuck Baldwin, and probably beat several states that even had ballot access. Texas have nearly 4000 write in votes for Baldwin, making it an important state for our totals even without ballot access. There is a majority core in California that will always be loyal to the CP. Our first hearing is in December, and trial likely in February. Even if we lose in court, we will take the party back by internal vote in the 2010 biannual meetings by party officers. The main problem is Long-Island, it's like having a tape-worm that sucks life off the main host. These Long-Island politicians in Albany pretty much siphon the wealth from up-state down to them. The Democrat Party used to defend the middle-class there, so NY-ers have grown accostom to the Democrats as being their savior. Of course NYS is nearly transformed into a nanny-state that would make Europe jealous. Besides to many old people in the majority who aint even on-line to get Constitution Party news. I had to leave there and come to Florida the environment was that suffocating economically and scientifically speaking. Give it a try but it will be an 80 degree uphill battle. |
