Following/Petitioning Chuck Baldwin
Devvy Kidd initially drew me to "News with Views"
whereat Chuck Baldwin has a column. Later, my promising elsewhere to follow-up on the foreign invasion of Hardin, Montana by the questionably authorized 'American Police Force' lead me to "Ravenwood" Comes to America. Therein, I conveniently found "a web page devoted to the Hardin, Montana, story for anyone that wants to review or keep abreast of this situation." Recommended in both the aforementioned article and "IT IS GOING TO BE A ROCKY ROAD" was, amongst other preparatory actions to take*, the viewing of the onetime CBS series "Jericho." Insofar as our taking greater action is provident, I move that we, as part of a previously mentioned “massive volunteer drive,” petition Chuck Baldwin to organize a network of enclaves whereby “[...] people, willing to [build] a place where Natural Law is respected, [may better persevere to revere] constitutional government.” * Quote:If you are able to get out of debt, do it. If you need to scale down your lifestyle in order to be better prepared for difficult days, do it. If you don't have guns and ammo, buy them. If you have not prepared some sort of preserved food pantry, do it. If you don't have some kind of survival plan in place for you and your family, get one. If you are not physically fit, get in shape. If you are able to move to a more secure, out-of-harm's-way location, do it. (During any kind of financial or societal meltdown, urban areas will quickly turn into war zones. Can anyone say, "New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina"?) In other words, get your nose out of the boob tube, get your bottom off the easy chair, and get busy. |

RE: Following/Petitioning Chuck Baldwin
There are a few of we Americans who are well past the point of being able to prepare ourselves. Early on, I tried to make a point to a few that without an income, we are powerless to fight the NWO. It was like being an old hippie standing on the side of the road with a sandwich sign reading "The End Is Near". No one is going to listen to you because people only listen to those who wear fine suits, have expensive hair cuts and drive fine German automobiles. They are not going to hear anything from a man that lives in a shack, drives an old pickup truck and is missing some teeth!
Every day I hear warnings "you must buy gold" and at the same time I hear the government is moving toward making healthcare insurance mandatory much like auto insurance. We are a society that uses guilt as a motivator. I love Chuck Baldwin with all my heart, but there are going to be Americans who will not survive the times that are coming fast upon us. I will no doubt become one of those homeless ones who will be worked nearly to death in some forced labor camp and I will gladly go to be with the Lord to escape this fallen world. But it isn't because I was too arrogant to listen, it will be poverty that will plunge me into slavery. We are the penniless paupers who have spent our lives trusting in the American dream and having faith that our hard work would be rewarded. We have nothing to show for our labor, government has taken all of it from us until we are expendable. I don't have money enough to keep a decent roof over my head, what chance do I have of surviving the depression that is coming? My employer has cut me back to 32 hours a week and I used to put in 70 hours in 5 days for him. My company is going out of business just like the last 6 companies I have worked for have gone out of business. And I have known these days were coming from about 1988. I have been warning people about this for decades now, I used to write songs about it and no one listened. I was in the business of retraining people for a new career, I would tell them and they wouldn't listen. It seems fitting that someone like me would find themselves living on the street when it happens. I have become that old Jesus Freak Hippie with the sandwich sign that people laughed at and said was crazy. I will be in the first group of Americans to disappear! I will be one of those faces inside the FEMA wire who have lost all hope and would welcome death if it would end the madness sooner. It will be just like Auschwitz and Dachau except this time the images will be in color and instead of wearing a star of David and a tattooed number on my arm, it will be an RFID chip. There are many Americans today that are in no financial position to prepare for it. I am one of these. |

RE: Following/Petitioning Chuck Baldwin
Hub, I know what you mean. My company laid everyone off, so I had to take a 'less than desirable' job almost 3 times as far away! I'm making the bills, but that leaves virtually no money for political activity (including campaigns, which desperately need funds!) They are squeezing us all into a the little proverbial box and doing what they can to keep the people from having the ability to take action. I continue to do what I can with my time and talents, if not treasure, as well as continue to look for a better financial situation. Hopefully things wil get better, but if not, I'm R.E.A.D.Y.

There is a pretty good explanation from an economist named Thomas Wolf "I think" on Link TV (that I find pretty repugnant at times). The program is called "Capitalism hits the fan" and it nails the economic situation so that anyone can understand it. There was a poster on here last year who though that anyone who fell for the Fanny m. or Freddy m. home loans was just an idiot. I cautioned him not to get too arrogant about tossing Americans that he had been luckier than into a labeled group and that anything can happen with Government programs. If I had bought a home in 1984 and paid nothing but the interest on the loan all these years, I would have been fine as long as I sold it before the housing bubble popped. I would have sold it, pocketed the mark up and paid off the remaining principal. But as we know, many Americans were still holding these debts when the housing bubble popped. Now there are homes listed that will never sale unless some wealthy person buys it for income property and even that has no guarantees. Far be it from me to kick my fellow Americans when they are down, just because they assumed that housing prices would continue to rise and that made a home the perfect hedge against inflation. That is like my parents telling me that if I am good, Santa will reward me on Christmas day. It is something expected that one grows out of with maturity. These folks living in the tent cities in California have my sympathy and I wish there were something I could do to help. But I am a paycheck away from a tent city myself. There are many Americans walking in the same shoes. |

“[...] I used to write songs about it and no one listened.” Have you looked into ways of getting your music online? Being that you were “in the business of retraining people for a new career,” you are experienced at negotiating agreements whereby all participants benefit. May God reveal to you ways whereby future exchanges between yourself and others may prove as mutually rewarding for, while some only seek to gain at others’ expense, good men tackle crises in terms of reciprocity. Bulldog 76, My mentioning “human resources” was for the fact that some of us are afforded more time than money for campaigning. What’s more, the experience itself may yield new possibilities. All,
I'm glad none is especially fixed upon the concept of enclaves, as a forth-coming proposal is both better in keeping with Western tradition and afar proven. Did anyone else find "Jericho" almost addictive? Thumb-up: I, too, recommend the well-done series. MGby'all. |

That was a series that wasn't suppose to happen and from what I have heard they tried to kill the series after the first season. What amazes me is the same people that will follow Jericho could never be convinced that something on the same order could happen for real. I told a coworker that Ian Flemming (007) was a British government agent and got his ideas from real life....He just looked at me like I might be a constitutionalist. |

It was a little like the old Chrysler Airflow, it was way ahead of its time! Now you've done it! Steered me right into classic cars again! Just remember, you started this. I would love to win the lottery (yeah right) and buy an old Diamond Reo 18 wheeler and restore it. Put a trailer on the back painted up with all kinds of writing from the Constitution and paintings of American heroes. I would operate a little liberty information ministry from the air conditioned trailer with the micro am/fm radio stations playing clips from great speeches from history and today. Not to mention great radio shows that put the liberty cause right on the front burner. I'd call it "The Liberty Wagon". Naturally it would have to have a 3408 Caterpillar engine with a 6 speed overdrive main transmission and a 4 speed overdrive right behind it! I will need all that power and double overdrive to escape those G men when they come shooting at me to shut me down. Let it never be said I had no imagination. |

And, since I requested today and now await a model whereupon to, hopefully, base "a forth-coming proposal," why not better entertain how you'd restore "an old Diamond Reo 18 wheeler"? Please provide, in hypertext, an image of the above with a few examples of what you'd paint on the trailer. Speaking of trailers, why not post a short trailer of your micro station complete with theme song? Paint your "Liberty Wagon," and we'll jump on the bandwagon. |
