introduce myself
i joined through the website early summer becuase i liked some of what i saw and im a big believer in at least a 3 party system. i dont like all the platform points of this party some of them i absolutely hate and ive seen what happens to member groups who disagree. i will disagree and i hope the people at the top understand that there should be some dissent to keep a party healthy.
i served with the 10th mountain a very long time ago and have been a lifelong republican. i have since dropped the r by name and i am not looking to replace it with anything but a c (conservative) i have been active in many electons ive seen the good bad and ugly on both sides. you can take my criticisms and praise any way you like my eyes are wide open and i call a spade a spade. |

RE: introduce myself
Thank you for your bluntness. We need more people in this world who will speak out on behalf of Truth. I believe the main core to the party is this. That we as a people and government in our great nation need to do what is right and best for the country and not individual groups of people or even states, the problem is we are all fighting over who will get the money and or power first. We Must make the people and government accountable to the supreme law of the land THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.
I AM LOOKING FOR MEN THAT HAVE INTEGRITY AND NOT GREED TO COME FORWARD TO RUN IN THE NEXT SENATORIAL RACE OF 2010, I ONLY NEED 35 MEN. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT ME. |

RE: introduce myself
government should be accountable to the people but the people have to be responsable first
its not senators you should be running its state assembley men and local council members the constitutuion gave the states more rights than the feds and thats how it should be looked at. once states start to stand and up and say no the feds will do what they please. |

I lived near there for the first 21 years of my life and they were usually the second into battle after the 82nd Airborne (if my info is still accurate). |

RE: introduce myself
I'm a paleo-Republican and vote for anyone or anything to oppose free trade and open borders which is doing the most damage at this point in time.
And the Atheist Libertarians are aholes. "Where's the flying spaghetti monster? Where's the flying spaghetti monster? Where's the flying spaghetti monster?" I can't stand them anymore, want to punch them in the face. I have noticed the Atheist Libertarian Aholes have infected the Republican Party, notice how many in top Republican leadership positions identify themselves as "Republican-Libertarians". Also, censorship is overdue. Our culture has degraded, and the Libertarians can go take a hike if they think otherwise. P.I.N. Protectionist Isolationist Nativist |

RE: introduce myself
The Constitution Party is by far the best alternative to both
the Democrats and Republicans. The CP should be recognized but the media only favors Establishment parties. |

RE: introduce myself
I hate to admit this but the CP will suffocate if an actual TEA-Party forms. We are on the ballot in 28 states. We need to amalgamate with the TEA-Partiers and get them to see what the CP has to offer.

RE: introduce myself
The CP is the only hope of returning our government to its constitutionally limited function. Where a lot of people get off course is over conservatives vs. constitutionalists. Conservatives do not necessarily support limited government. Most conservatives are concerned more with cost than being constitutional. Most constitutionalists support only limited government. Cost takes a back seat to passing constitution muster.
I consider myself a constitutional conservative. If it is constitutional, then do it for the least amount of money to achieve the most in the way of practical results. Outside of national border defense, foreign trade and treaties, the federal government should mind their own business. |

RE: introduce myself
i'm Andrew, 40 currently employed Im a General Manager in a Web developer, love to have fun in everything that i do, i like to play tennis, skiing and swimming, Why do I have a feeling their interpretation of what the Constitution means is different than mine? I'm sure they have some axes to grind on some pet issues and can make the Constitution say whatever they want, just like abortion, gun control or illegal immigration.

Because they have made the Constitution a subjective article rather than an authoritative one. The Constitution was to be applied rather than interpreted. Read the text, explain the text and apply the text. Anything outside of these bounds will limit American freedom. And this is the platform Republicans run on....until elected. Why does John McCain remain a Senator? |
