Maps for Ballot Access
Listen, my name is Michael Jose and I have been publishing Ballot Access maps for 2008 on my blog, Glaivester. (Not so much recently, I have been having problems with my image servers). I am going to be doing some work to get some maps done over the next four years for the 2010 and 2012 elections.
If anyone has any sort of data on issues such as this and would like a map or some other similar graphic, or just wants to find out information on an issue such as this, I am willing to try to become an unofficial ballot access information coordinator. |

I know this is a bit late, but I just checked out some of your blog site with the maps. Though I couldn't find the maps, I did notice that you had the following statement on your site: "North Carolina is white because there is a dispute over whether or not the CP has write-in access." As a member of the State Executive Committee of the Constitution Party of North Carolina, and Ballot Access Committee Co-Coordinator for the Party in NC, I can say that we did NOT have ballot access for Baldwin, and that Baldwin was NOT a qualified Write-In on the NC ballot. For several reasons we failed to get him qualified, yet it mostly was due to inaccuracies and misstatements on the NC State Board of Elections (NCSBOE) web site as well as inaccurate information from NCSBOE staff on the deadline for Write-In petitions. For future elections you might want to check out the North Carolinians for Free and Proper Elections (NCFPE) web site as well as Ballot Access News. The NCFPE is a state Political Action Committee dedicated to free, equal and proper elections that is working to change the ballot access laws in NC, notify the citizens where the candidates stand on ballot access, relay news about ballot access in NC in general and news from 3rd parties, independents and even the two-major parties when approriate. You can learn more about the NCFPE-PAC at www.NCFPE.com. If you have any questions about the NCFPE you can e-mail me at jmgreene@ncfpe.com, I am the President of the PAC. RE: Maps for Ballot Access
Wow, I didn't know Utah was one of the states with the most representation. I wish I had known of the party while I lived there.
