Lightbulb MLK,Jr Weekend 2012
I say the Presidential and Veep nominating convention should be held no later than the MLK.Jr holiday weekend (mid-January) 2012

We must bypass the mainstream corporate media's blackout to reach the voters through all other possible means. We need as much time as possible to get our name and message to the voters, hence the Jan., 2012 convention.

RE: MLK,Jr Weekend 2012
Yeah I agree this time we were trying to get Ron Paul to run so we had a late convention. This time we need to start early I know that some states don't allow us to collect signatures that early but this gives us time to raise money to hire people or get volunteers to collect signatures. It also allows us time for legal difficulties. It also allows us more time to travel. But this plan assumes that the GOP will still be alive by then. If the GOP doesn't change we will be one of two major parties by then so there would be no need to do this. If the GOP is still not changed and somehow not dead yet we should have someone be willing to run in the GOP primary and then if he is not selected by willing to run for the CP. I would like to have Roy Moore or Barry Goldwater Jr. to do this. Remember Ron Paul got a lot of press just running a losing campaign.

I think it would be best that regardless of the possible candidates for any other party, we need to take care of our own first. Get our candidates out there and campaigning and attempt to reach as many as we can. Each one of us can vote for whoever we wish in November... if you feel that the Republican candidates is a true pro constitution, stands for what you believe in, then by all means for that person then. However, we should be concentrating on getting our own started and going...

RE: MLK,Jr Weekend 2012
2012 election may be the time for The US Taxpayers Party of Michigan to make large inroads with the conservative voters in Michigan .The Republican Party has severally wounded its selvs by not supporting the Auto Companies of this country and appear to be supporting foreign auto makers instead.

We need a will known candidate for the 2010 Governor’s position in Michigan and serious candidates with good support in the 2012 election. Lets start to find these candidates for our party now!

We need all the support we can get at our January 31, 2009 County Convention at Okemos, please consider coming to the meeting and bring your friends. We need to build our infrastructure now!

We can't depend on the GOP to either change or do the decent thing and die. We have to nurture our own, recruit, and be ready, in case we have the opportunity, to welcome a flood of new members.
