Purpose for this section
My intentions for starting this section is to allow posters to write original thoughts and articles about the Constitution Party, Politics in general and how these apply to our daily life. It is easy to cut and paste the thoughts and writings of others but there are already sections for these. What we need here is a little venue for self expression instead of a bunch of postings of various other writers who already have an outlet.
Instead of having a Thread Subject, just put your Username in the Subject line and always revert back to your same Thread Subject. The writer becomes the Subject. (no pun intended). This might go a long way toward us getting to know each other rather than getting to know each others opinions and this is a step in the right direction. Anyone can comment on your writings, but be gracious about it. Try to understand the we all have different experiences and backgrounds. We might start out writing a mini-bio about ourselves allowing readers to get a background on why and how we became CP members or why we are unwilling to trust the Government and have left the two major parties. But it doesn't have to be political, you may want to make your writings reflective of how thankful you are to be an American, or how sick and tired you are of being American. There are no limits to self expression, just keep it clean so as not to offend readers. And as Ray told me when he made me a Moderator: "Try not to hurt anyone". "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died, Rather we should Thank God that such men lived." General George S. Patton |

These Days
I find it hard these days to keep from thinking of all the deceit and lying we have going on in our country. It is ridiculous that Texans have to give into their elected officials who can't stand up to the Federal Gov't regarding TSA. It is illegal that the Supreme Court can decide that each person must have health insurance. So what is a reaction supposed to be to NWO going into overdrive to complete their one world government on "schedule". As far as I can see WWIII is already going on and we are in the middle of it as world police. Voting at this point seems pointless. Are our voices even heard? I wonder who we can really trust as the wicked head of tyranny raises it's evil head above us all......anyways I am glad I live far from any big cities, although I still wonder when I see jets way up in the sky spraying what? So watching and waiting and not over reacting is pretty stressful. What do some of you all do to maintain? We have a small farm to keep us busy, as we are retired, hopefully pension holds out. Well , thru griping for now ha ha

I maintain my sense of humor. I just try to control my own attitude since that is the only thing I really can control. I also try to remember that people have been saying "the sky is falling" for a very long time and yet it hasn't. I am not trying to minimize the difficulties we are facing but being consumed by them serves little purpose in my opinion. I support causes and candidates I agree with and I never vote for someone just to keep the "other guy" from winning. My vote is too important to me to be wasted in that fashion. I also drink two beers a day whether I need them or not!

One thing to remember is that the Constitution is key! If you expose dishonest ambitious people, they will run for the hills. Right now, our Country is rewarding dishonor. Most of the Constitution limits Government making laws. Lawyers continue to pursue a career in politics because when you know the rules that well, you can quickly find a way around them. RE: Purpose for this section
@ New Federalist: You are right about being consumed serves little purpose. I am learning that. About a year and a half ago I seriously started researching all the crazy things going on, basically I woke up to reality and held my brain to the fire. I am backing off the sky is falling feeling that had a hold on me. I have more tolerance now, for better or worse. I am definitely out of the two party system,a real dog and pony show they have. I had to laugh about the beers. I have one to two a day if I need them or not also. Thanks for your reply and @ hubcap: yeah rewarding dishonor seems to be what the lunatics are doing. I have a copy of the constitution on hand always, my latest reads are The Original Constitution by Robert G. Natelson, Also Tom Woods Nullification How To Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century. Have read them both couple times. Lately I am taking a break before I hit some other books along that line. Thanks for reply
