RE: Hubcap
(My response to a poster who brought up the reason Ron Paul only got 89 seconds to speak at the last debate.)

"Ya think maybe the moderators only gave him 89 seconds because we’ve all heard his tired old rhetoric a zillion times before and nobody is interested in hearing it again?"

My Response:

I admit, it is easy to give a political novice like Cain a free pass. He hasn't been at it long enough for the new to wear out. He is like a brand new model of car that has never been put to the test, he just looks good on the showroom floor. But please, continue the Ron Paul dismissal. He will be gone from the Republican Party soon enough taking a good portion of registered GOP voters with him.

Yes, what would life be like if 1/3 of the voting Republicans became Libertarians/Constitution Party or John Birch Society members? That would be enough to sink the 2012 GOP Presidential candidate and hand Obama 4 more years. It might be enough to allow the Democrats to take back the House seeing as how the despised Ron Paul's seat is up for grabs. Wouldn't that be glorious to see the brash, opinionated GOP lose another Presidential election? It might sober them up enough to cause them to return to the limited government platform that made them the party that disposed of Jimmy Carter....Another big Government Politician. But I doubt it. Most will continue to see politics as a contest of popularity instead of principals.

So keep just keep talking. This is why you should never get involved in politics. You divide, not unite. This is why you are of the opinion that moderators should be the judge of who gets to speak and who doesn't.

You are the wisest man you know!

RE: Hubcap
We will either have a political awakening, or we will not. If we don't then we will go down in history as an political experiment that failed, just as the USSR did. History books will exclude the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence from their pages because the hierarchy will never want those documents to give populations the idea that they can rule themselves. The United States of America was never suppose to happen after all.

But if there is a political Awakening in the USA, it will likely come in waves much like the Tea Party or Occupy Wall Street movements. So many are working so hard to either contain or derail these ! If they knock down one movement, another will pop up in its place. When it does, they will do whatever it takes to nullify it or contain it. This will go on while our currency becomes more worthless, there will be electronic runs on banks such as the recent MF Group debacle where a holding company has pretty well stolen private citizens funds. The downturn will continue until more and more Americans begin to realize what is going on. As this happens, there will be more joining the growing numbers of Americans who see our Government as the biggest threat to our freedoms.

But if there is a political Awakening in the USA, someone or some political party will lead it. If it is the Democrats, it will put the GOP back 100 years politically, they will look like the GOP of Herbert Hoover. If it is the GOP, they will put the DEMs back 100 years making them look like the socialists they are. They will look like a bunch of old rich hippies that never worked a day in their lives.

We had better hope this Awakening happens and you had better hope you are on the right side of history if it does. Sooner or later, Americans are going to demand it. Sooner or later, police are going to get tired to being sicked on the American public. The military will not save the Politician as they will begin to read and understand the document they swore an oath to defend, and they will refuse to intrude on American Rights. They will begin to see the elected and non elected official as an impediment to Constitutional Rights instead of protectors of them. In short, politicians will be found standing on the wrong side of American wrath.

But until this happens, there will be those who will justify the status quo. They will go with the popular propaganda put out by the bought and paid for media that Clinton allowed to happen. There will be those the support the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Safety Administration that Bush started so as to make the country safe from terrorism. The Terrorists are in Washington DC. These departments have been set up to keep them safe from us. They are the enemies of our Constitutional Rights and that is exactly why Veterans are on their terrorist watch lists.

You decide what side you are on.

RE: Hubcap
So I went into this restaurant, sat down and was asked by my waitress. "Would you care for liver and onions today?"

I explained that the liver was actually the filter for the rest of the body and that for all the iron the liver contained, it actually kept a lot of bad stuff in it. So no I would not be having the liver an onions special today.

In reply, my waitress asked. "So then it will be our onions and liver special today?"

Again, I gave the above explanation as to why I wasn't going to eat liver and onions. Now understand, I was raised on liver and onions and have no problem with the taste as I am from a family of hillbillies that would and have eaten just about anything that could be killed.

So Trixie, my waitress said. "We do have a chicken liver basket and you could have that with onion rings if you like! Or we can get you some pork liver if you prefer."

No matter what I said, no matter how I protested she was going to come up with some liver and onion combination. Couldn't get a steak or a hamburger. Liver and onions was what they were pushing and that is what my choice was no matter what I said.

Just like no matter what you want in Government, you are going to get member of the Tri-Latteral Commission or a Council on Foreign Relations.....It may be packaged in a Sanitorium, Newt, Romney or Perry but that is what is on the menu. You are going to get someone who has been used as a filter.

I love the term "Paulbot". It is a reference to how Paul supporters follow like robots behind Ron Paul. The truth is, we are about the only independent thinkers remaining on the right today. This is why I am able to give the explanation of liver and onions rather than lash out at someone personally that I don't agree with. The GOP is playing musical Globalist with you....just like the Democrats do.

The only choice you have is when the music stops and everyone runs for a chair. They are hoping to eliminate Ron Paul by leaving him without a chair. This will leave Republicans with a choice between two or three candidates that can be controlled and are members of the same organizations that control the world. In other words us.

But who am I? What do I know? I work from week to week just like the rest of the poor working slobs who are having the buying power of their hard earned dollar pulled out from under them every month! Y'all could make this time in our history remarkable! We could go back to being one country in world history that is unique.

But no.

We would rather become a top heavy Republic that falls because we sent our troops all over the world without an economy to support it, just like Rome did. We would rather not know the truth and continue down the path we are on heading for a depression because our economy was off shored long ago. We were once a country of builders. Now we are a country of consumers.

So will it be Liver and Onions, or Onions and Liver? Or better yet, pinto beans if you can afford them! One day, we may live to see the last American built automobile placed in some shrine in Detroit. People will pass by and look at the museum piece like I look at an old Fender Telecaster that was made by Leo Fender in Fullerton California.

Now, they are made in Mexico.
