RE: Ballot Status for 2012
The only change from the February report is that Americans Elect is now certified to appear on the ballot in 17 states which is a gain of one. According to the March print edition of BAN they are finished with ballot drives in 12 other states. The Constitution Party as well as the Libertarians and the Greens each finished a ballot drive in February. If all completed drives are successful the new totals will be Libertarians 30 states; Americans Elect 29 states; the Greens 18 states and DC and the Constitution Party 14 states.

Americans Elect actually advertises on Alex Jones' show, I place CP banners where appropriate but a religious stigma is what is inhibiting growth within our ranks.

The April 1st print edition of Ballot Access News is out and there are changes from March. The Libertarian Party is now confirmed on the ballot in 30 states (up 1 from March), Americans Elect is now confirmed on the ballot in 21 states (up 4 from March), the Green Party is now confirmed on the ballot in 19 states and DC (up 2 from March) and the Constitution Party is confirmed on the ballot in 14 states (up 1 from March). The CP has also finished ballot drives in two other states (New Mexico and South Dakota).

I think there are those who see the CP as a Religious political movement. I would say that a good comeback is to ask if our inalienable rights come from G-d or man. If they come from man, they are alienable because they came from a changeable authority that will most likely change it's position on this issue every election cycle.

In other words, we need to do a better job of explaining our position on freedom of Religion. People who have not studied history do not realize that there have been plenty of Government authorized and even funded religion. The USA is unique, the Government is forbidden from interfering in Religious freedom.

The best way to derail this political movement is to allow its detractors to define the essence of who we are. We are still to see someone who is an expositor of what the Constitution Party is. We need a definer, an apologist to make a case why a return to a strict interpretation of the Constitution is as necessary today as it was when it was penned.

The solution today is the solution in 1776. Less Government intervention in every aspect of American life. And a huge part of that is faith. Because humanism is a faith.

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died,
Rather we should Thank God that such men lived."
General George S. Patton

Let's hope the CPers in that state mobilize in full.

The Americans-Elect Party is now defunct. So the CP needs to step up now more than ever. Get these guys on our side.

Better yet why not take over the state organizations which already have ballot status?
