RE: Oregon's Dave Brownlow
Okay the CP Oregon dissaffliated from the National which won't be a problem unless they do what Montana did and promise to put our candidate in the ballot line then at the last minute put someone else. Anyways I am a little troubled over the issue that lead to the dissaffliation. I am not sure how I would have voted if I was a delegate. I would not under normal circumstance support rape or incest exceptions but if I was a Senator and there was a bill with the exceptions and I was the critical vote I would vote for it if the bill without exceptions failed. However I don't believe that this was Janine Hansen's position I believe her position is that children born of rape or incest are guilty trustpassers in the womb.

Wrong!

They did it because of Janine's younger brother, Chris, who was our State Chairman at the time and decided to shoot his mouth off on the abortion issue- he's the one that holds that view about children, NOT Janine.
And the Religious extremists in the party that Chris pissed off blew the thing even further out of proportions and hoodwinked the Oregon CP into leaving the national.

Nevertheless, we elected a new State Chair in 2008 after Chris caused further problems for us and he's no longer active in the IAP.
