Under Attack
If you are wondering why this site is running so slow lately, its because we are the victim of a ddos attack http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack

Looks like someone is not happy with us.

They might as well get used to it, the US mail still works!

RE: Under Attack
That's funny, our Minnesota site was also hacked into. (See MN February Newsletter for details on what the hacker did to us.)

Seems like the FBI, the CIA or some other LMNOP should be investigating this stuff. They sure would if it was a big box party being hacked.

Investigate themselves?

Actually, I'd rather they'd all leave us alone, but it is interesting to think that they may be responsible for the hacking. My statement was tongue in cheek, but I also thought it interesting the stink they're making about similar stuff in Mary Landrieu's office. Perhaps they've got a globalist agenda too. They'll help her and attack us. Hmmmmm.

RE: Under Attack
If there is to be web censorship, it will be done incrementally. If you want to get a bill passed that is unpopular with the people all you have to do is to have a few prominent leaders from the party trying to get that same bill passed say they hate it, and it is law. So in the area of politics, it would make sense to attack both sides of any issue. If you are a talk show host on Fox and you want to add some credibility to your show, let a Constitutional Judge guest host it from time to time. But DO NOT allow the same Judge who people love have his own show...On no, that would be too much truth at one time. Dramatics sells more soap as it were.

It is much like the Ron Paul movement last election. Even though Republicans had Paul to vote for, McCain/Palin was what the media/RNC handed us. So the Democrats had O'bummer say he was against the war and would bring the troops home day one. He lied. He said he would not allow one lobbyist in his cabinet. He lied. He promised complete transparency in his white house. He lied. what the Democrats gave Americans to vote for was their version of Ron Paul. Now we are 28 trillion (reported by bloomberg, look it up) in bail outs, we are expanding our war effort into Iran, our biggest military Recruiting base is in Mexico city, we have naked body scanners going up in every airport in the USA and what is the American media reporting on? Sarah Palin! The only place you can still get an unbiased viewpoint is here on the internet and that is why it must be brought under Government control.

We are being herded. We Americans are so dumb that we will follow anyone, anywhere for any reason they hand us. The Tea Party movement was to be a move against that type of control and now it is being led by the Neocom Sarah Palin. And even CPers are lining up for it.

I had hoped we were smarter than that.

Most of us were edumacated in government schools, so we've been taught only what they want us to know. We're all in the process of learning. Some are just faster than others. Some are farther along than others.

When people begin to realize their country is being burned (and them along with it), THEN the alarm bells begin to go off. They do what they've been taught in school and call the fire department. Problem is, they haven't yet figured out that the fire department they're calling is staffed by the arsonists. They haven't figured out that they should do something themselves (get the hose out) instead of relying on others to fix the fire for them. It's called becoming individualists again and getting out of the collectivist hive.

Yes, you are right. What I hate is that if you get past the public thought police in school you graduate to the public media school of thought. This is a tough fight and I guess there are times when I need to be patient.
