RE: WHY
Is there a list somewhere of local candidates? I'd be interested on seeing who they are and how they did.

RE: WHY
I don't know if they changed it yet, but the national party website should have candidates listed on the state party pages. There were many state-level candidates around the country.

The current chairman, Mark Pool, rcvd 444 votes as a write-in Senatorial candidate in 2006. Currently, with unofficial results, Chuck is beating Nadar around 935-852. McKinney is at 25 or so. Even Darrell Castle rcvd 48 write-in votes. Fortwayneright, I hope to internet search for the Michigan results. They ran many local candidates under their CST Party affiliate named the US Taxpayer's Party of Michigan. Last week I went to the Mich. Sec Of State website but no results were posted. As a general rule, if I want to know how CST candiates did on the local level, I search for the Sec. Of State's website for that respective state. Hope this helps. Welcome aboard to the CST, by the way, glad you are here......You made a good point about winning at the local level in your earlier email......that is very true. However, if we are going to remain a national party, we must run a presidential candidate. I'm sure I don't agree with their views, but in Vermont, the Progressive Party has put 6 on the state legislature. This shows that it can be done... |
